VICKI SARGE: The Woman
Vicki Sarge, is a visionary designer who co-founded Erickson Beamon in 1983 before establishing the brand in London in 1985.
Known as the "Undisputed Queen of British costume jewellery" by the Louis Vuitton guide to London, Vicki’s work reflects her bold, eclectic spirit. Inspired by her experiences in the vibrant Manhattan nightclub scene of the late 1970s and a deep love for fashion history, architecture, film, and diverse cultures, her jewellery combines meticulous craftsmanship with innovative materials.
Vicki’s creations are a true expression of her unique artistic vision, blending glamour with individuality.
VICKISARGE: The Timeline
1983
Vicki Sarge establishes Erickson Beamon alongside Eric Beamon, Eric Erickson and Karen Erickson.
1985
Vicki leaves New York to establish the European arm of Erickson Beamon.
1985
Erickson Beamon London begins in a Camden Studio between neighbours such as Vivienne Westwood and Stephen Linnard.
1987
An Erickson Beamon necklace features prominently on the cover of Madonna's "Like a Prayer" album.
1988
The workshop moves to St John Street.
1993
Erickson Beamon open their European flagship at 38 Elizabeth Street.
2005
Diamonds by Erickson Beamon launches.
2007
An Erickson Beamon necklace features prominently in season 1 of Gossip Girl.
2008
Vicki begins working with Turquoise Mountain in Afghanistan.
2011
Beyonce wears a custom headdress for the cover of l'Officiel magazine.
2013
Vicki Sarge renames her business eponymously, rebranding as VICKISARGE.
2018
Sandy Powell commisions VICKISARGE to supply jewellery for "The Favourite".
2019
VICKISARGE is commisioned to provide jewels for the the A/W 2019 Savage x Fenty runway.
2023
The Victoria & Albert Museum acquire two archival VICKISARGE pieces for their permanent collection.
2024
VICKISARGE open on Kensington Church Street, marking a return to the High Street.
